OUR STORY

A small family yard in South Louisiana keeping the Cajun gamefowl tradition alive.

The Tradition

CAJUN BY BLOOD. CUTTERS BY TRADE.

My grandfather started this yard in 1987 with a handful of hens and one cock. Forty years later, we still raise our birds the same way — outdoors, on the ground, on Louisiana grass.

We don't crowd, we don't shortcut, and we never sell a bird we wouldn't keep ourselves. Every bird is hatched, raised, and conditioned by hand by a member of our family.

We don't just raise roosters — we raise champions.

HOW WE DO IT

Our birds grow up in open-range pens with grass, dust, and sunshine. We don't crowd, we don't medicate as routine, and we don't shortcut a bird's first year. A bird that gets to be a bird makes for stronger feather, harder bone, and a heart that doesn't quit.

Every bloodline on this farm has been kept pure for a reason — and crossed for a reason. We breed for station, station, station — and gameness above all. Pedigrees provided on every brood bird sold.
